Privacy Policy
Data Wallet is designed to help a parent manage family responsibilities and earned screen-time minutes without advertising or unnecessary tracking.
Information we collect
We collect the parent’s sign-in identity, family name, child first names or nicknames, child PIN verifiers, chores, approvals, earned-minute ledger entries, subscription status and support messages. We do not need a child’s surname, school, address, photograph or precise location.
How we use it
We use information only to operate the family account, keep balances accurate, provide support, prevent abuse and manage subscriptions. We do not sell family or child information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Children’s information
A parent or guardian creates and controls the family account. Use a nickname where practical. Child PINs are transformed before storage and are not displayed back to the parent or child.
Service providers
We use trusted hosting, authentication and payment providers to run Data Wallet. Stripe processes payment details; Data Wallet does not store full card numbers.
Retention and your choices
You may ask to access, correct, export or delete your family information. Some billing and transaction records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes. Contact us using the Contact page.
Security and incidents
Family records are separated by account and sensitive actions are checked on the server. If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will follow New Zealand notification requirements.
